A travel show presenter on Discovery's Travel and Living Channel's Fun Taiwan (winner of the Golden Bell award), Nadia Hatta grew up watching Bollywood films with her father and Mandarin soap operas with her mother, using
her siblings as guinea pigs for her experimental mini films and mock commercials with the family's camcorder. Her passion for filming and
creative expression led her to do a Professional Training
in Theatre at NYU.
With the Big Apple edge carved in her heart, Nadia embarked on a journey
in the world of performance. She's played a wide range of roles - from pixies to prisoners - appearing in over 20 films and TV shows spanning three different languages in Asia Pacific, NYC, Hong Kong, Canada, LA, Italy, Amsterdam and Taipei and more. Some of her acclaimed work includes
the 5-star award winning TV show, E4Kids, the Vagina Monolgues,
and the feature Fell in Love with A Girl. Thriving on a nomadic lifestyle
and picking up cultural perspectives and languages has deeply influenced
her attitude towards the world and the people in it.
Currently, Nadia is also creating her own series, Liv'N, a bilingual show dedicated to the exploration of happiness. Nadia produces, writes
and hosts each season in various exotic spots, from Koh Samui to Bali
to Green Island, all in the search of what makes people truly happy. |
